National Rail have announced that overnight engineering work will cause disruptions to trains this week.
Engineering work is taking place between Hunts Cross and Edge Hill, and Trafford Park and Glazebrook.
As a result of the work various train lines are being closed overnight from this evening until Friday morning.
The Northern line between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester stations Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Oxford Road is one of the lines disrupted by the work.
Rail replacement buses are being provided to replace the 23:38 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly service and the 23:28 Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street service.
Four buses will be provided in total per night.

A bus service will run from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly, calling only at Warrington Central.
A second bus will run from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly calling at all intermediate stations normally served by the train.
From Manchester Oxford Road, one bus will run to Liverpool calling at Warrington Central only.
A second bus will run from Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street calling at all intermediate stations normally served by the train.
The engineering work is scheduled to be completed by Friday morning, at which point Northern line trains running between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester will return to normal.
