Training company wins backing from Moonpig founder and former Dragon's Den star Nick Jenkins

The founders of a training company which inspires thousands of youngsters every year has secured the backing of Moonpig founder Nick Jenkins.

The Inspirational Learning Group, based in Stafford, is the company behind the UK’s biggest employability challenge which aims to inspire and encourage young people to achieve their dreams.

Now Nick Jenkins – founder of online greetings card company Moonpig and former Dragon’s Den star – has agreed to be the ambassador for the 2019/20 National Enterprise Challenge.

Nick becomes the challenge’s third ambassador – with the role previously held by Lord Sugar and Theo Paphitis.

National Enterprise Challenge co-founder Mike Dyer said: "We are really looking forward to having Nick as our ambassador.

"His appointment – and the two great challenges set by Grenade and Air Products – will give the contest a different dynamic and we can’t wait to see all the great ideas that the students have come up with."

Nick added: "I am delighted to become an ambassador for The National Enterprise Challenge for this academic year. Developing young people’s enterprise skills is vitally important for the UK economy so it’s great to be involved in a competition which helps to do this.

"I am looking forward to seeing the finalists’ ideas in July."
