BHUBANESWAR: Train services will be affected in Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Sambalpur City-Rairakhol railway section due to modernisation work for commissioning of double line between Sambalpur City and Maneswar, said the East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources.
Besides, the Railways will launch limited height subways (LHSs) between Kanshbahal and Rajagangpur stations under Chakradharpur division as a result of which trains will be cancelled, partially cancelled, regulated, rescheduled and diverted in different routes.
Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Express (18125/18126) and Rourkela-Jagadalpur-Rourkela InterCity Express (18107/18108) will be cancelled on Wednesday from both directions.
Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Express will remain cancelled between Puri and Sambalpur from May 23 to May 25. Bhubaneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar InterCity Express will remain cancelled between Jujomura and Balangir from both the directions from May 23 to May 30.
Similarly, Howrah-Titilagarh Ispat Express, Kantabanji-Howrah Ispat Express and Puri-Hatia-Puri Tapaswini Express will be partially cancelled on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Timing of four trains will be rescheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday. Bangalore-Hatia Express will be controlled enroute suitably for construction of the modernisation work on Tuesday.
Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express (20817/20818) will be run on diverted route via Bhubaneswar-Jakhapura-Jaroli-Rajkharsawan instead of Bhubaneswar-Sambalpur City-Rourkela-Rajkharsawan on May 27 and 28. Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express will be diverted through Vizianagaram-Titilagarh-Sambalpur route.
