Translink have confirmed part of the NI Railways line has been closed this afternoon.
Services between Belfast and Bangor have been cancelled and the line is currently closed following a 'tragic incident'.
A spokesperson for Translink said: "Due to a tragic incident on the Bangor line, the line is closed in both directions until further notice.
"Rail tickets will be honoured on bus services along the route. Plan your journey here for the times - https://bit.ly/3uYPJa2."
A bus substitute will operate between Lanyon Place and Bangor along the A2.
