Train guard bitten by passenger and his dog in horrific attack on platform

A train guard was attacked by a man and his dog - both of whom bit him - after challenging a passenger to put the dog on a lead.

The guard approached a man at Upholland Station and asked him to put his dog on a lead before boarding the train just after 3pm on Wednesday, February 17.

British Transport Police released details and an image of a man they would like to trace today.

The man refused to put the dog on a lead, as a result the guard told him they could not board the train.

The dog then chased after the train guard and bit him on the leg.

As the guard defended himself, the dog owner punched him in the face.

He then grabbed his head and reportedly said "I'll take your eye out".
