Faults with communication systems across the National Rail network is causing severe issues with train services today.
A number of signalling centres have reported issues with the radio system which enables drivers to connect with the signaller.
Trains are having to run at a reduced speed, causing extended journey times, including on Elizabeth line, Overground and Heathrow Express services.

Services recover after comms issues

Train services continue to return to normal following earlier communication systems on the National Rail network.
Trains may still be delayed or altered until the disruption ends, with issues expected until at least 6pm.
Points failure at West Ham

A points failure at West Ham is causing major problems on the London Underground.
The entire Hammersmith & City line is currently suspended, while this is also no service clockwise on the Circle line or between Tower Hill and East Ham on the District line.
There are severe delays on the rest of the District line.
Overground and Elizabeth line issues

The Lioness line and Elizabeth line are both experiencing severe delays due to the faulty communications equipment.
