Train passengers in the South West are facing multiple disruptions over the next week, as key services are cancelled and workers go on strike.
Train journeys between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa were cancelled today (December 28) due to crew shortages, creating disruption throughout the morning.
The problems were first announced at 7.45am on National Rail's Twitter account, and the issues were initially expected to last for two hours.

However, Great Western Railway tweeted at 8.32am that replacement road transport services would take passengers between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa in both directions "until further notice".
It also said that passengers were being taken between Bristol Temple Meads and Cheltenham Spa in both directions until further notice.
There have also been further disruptions to trains in the South West, as all train services at Bristol Parkway, Yate and Cam and Dursley were replaced by buses from Monday, 27 December to Friday 31.
Train services were also replaced by buses between Gloucester and Bristol Temple Meads.
According to Great Western Railway, these changes were made because of planned improvement works.
As well as this, CrossCountry have warned of planned strike action which could disrupt train services on December 31, and has advised passengers to "avoid travelling" on this day.
A post on its Twitter account yesterday warned of a "severely amended service" on New Year's Eve, and advised people not to travel on this day.
It said: "Due to planned strike action by members of the RMT union, we will only be able to run a very limited timetable this Friday, with the cancellation of many of our services. Avoid travelling on this day."
