Trailer unit loses wheel on M61 causing collision

Greater Manchester Police are currently dealing with an incident at Junction 2 of the M61, where a trailer unit has lost a wheel causing a car to leave the carriageway.

The driver of the tractor, which was pulling the trailer, has been issued with a Graduated Fixed Penalty Notice (GFPN) for failing to use a tachograph.

No injuries were sustained.
