Trailer released for new movie Our Ladies partially filmed at Glasgow bar

The first official trailer for a new Hollywood film with scenes filmed in Glasgow has been released.

As reported by Glasgow Live , back in November 2018, camera crews have been spotted on Paisley Road West, which turned out to be 'Our Ladies' - the latest offering from Scottish director Michael Caton-Jones.

Although it's primarily set in Edinburgh, part of the filming took place in local favourite The Old Toll Bar.

The story follows five teenage girls that attend a Catholic high school in the Highlands as they take a trip to Edinburgh for a choir competition.

The trailer introduces the main characters - Finnoula, Chell, Kylah, Manda, and the film's narrator Orla.

'Our Ladies' stars Kate Dickie and David Hayman and is based off the novel 'The Sopranos' by Scottish writer Alan Warner, which has also been adapted for the stage with the name 'Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour'.

The film, which is not due for general release until April, with have a special showing at the Glasgow Film Festival on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 February.
