Tragic young Dublin mum with three kids under age of four found dead named locally

A tragic Dublin mum-of-three who was pulled from the River Liffey on Friday morning has been named locally.

Amy McAuley from Liberty House in the north inner city was discovered by Gardai from Store Street shortly before 9am with her body removed by Dublin Fire Brigade near the Custom House Quays area.

The 30-year-old leaves behind three kids under the age of four - 14-month-old twins Aaliyah and Jayce and her eldest child, four-year-old Brodie.

Close family friend Brandon Fay has created a GoFundMe for Amy's family to help pay for funeral costs and to support her three children.

He told Dublin Live: "We as a community would like to help the family raise funds for the funeral of Amy during these hard and difficult times.

"As a community we can all pull together and help , nothing is too big or nothing is to small."

He added: "The left over funds will go towards supporting her children who Amy idolised."

You can donate to the GoFundMe for the tragic mum on Brandon Fay's Facebook page here.
