Tragic TV star Emily Hartridge had everything to live for before shock death

TV star Emily Harstridge had everything to live for before her shock death aged 35.

The presenter, personal trainer and YouTuber was killed in a traffic collision in London on Friday, leaving her family and friends devastated.

Tragically, her life was just starting to come together perfectly and she was making exciting plans for the future.

She was dating fellow PT Jacob Hazell and they recently moved in together.

The massive step in their relationship came just months after Emily underwent a procedure to freeze eggs as she was starting to think about starting a family.

She'd discovered she had low fertility levels and was taking steps to make sure she could still have children.

Emily previously told The Sun Online : “Two weeks before I was due to freeze my eggs in November 2018 I met Jake, 27, a fellow PT.

"We hit it off and I told him about getting my eggs frozen. Thankfully, he was very open-minded about it.

"However, I’d already started injecting myself with hormones, which didn’t give us the easiest start to our relationship.

"It didn’t affect our sex life, but my moods were all over the place, and some days all I wanted to do was curl up into a ball. But Jake was so supportive and even came with me for my first procedure.

Just three days before her death, she revealed she'd started IVF with Jake to freeze embryos that the could use in years to come to have a baby together.

Emily had previously spoken out about her battle with mental health, but was in a good place in her life and was even hosting meetings to give other women a "space space" to talk about their own issues.

She made campaigning for better mental health one of her big goals on Instagram, as well as promoting drives for eating less meat and helping the environment.

Sadly her love for the environment played a part in her death as she was riding an electric scooter close to her home when her eco-friendly vehicle collided with a lorry.

A statement on Instagram read: "Hi everyone. This is a horrible thing to have to say over Instagram but we know many of you were expecting to see Emily today and this is the only way to contact you all at once.

"Emily was involved in an accident yesterday and passed away. We all loved her to bits and she will never be forgotten.

"She has touched so many lives it's hard to imagine things without her. She was a very special person xxx."
