A man who died following a road crash on the M90 near Perth has been formally identified.
Police Scotland has revealed he was Kenneth Cheyne, aged 55, from Turriff in Aberdeenshire.
Mr Cheyne was the driver and sole occupant of a lorry which left the road while travelling southbound near Junction 10 around 7.20am on Thursday, November 4.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police closed the road going south where the accident occurred.
Sergeant John Learmonth of the Road Policing Unit in Perth said: “Our thoughts are with Mr Cheyne’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“Our enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage who hasn’t yet spoken to an officer to get in touch.
