Luke Perry has been remembered for his "pure selfless love" on what would have been his 55th birthday.
The actor - who was best known for his roles in Riverdale and Beverly Hills, 90210 - died in March 2019 at St Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, California from complications after suffering a stroke.
Luke was surrounded by his family and close friends when he passed, and two and a half years on, he has been remembered by his co-stars for being a "giver in this ungiving life" and was praised for his "loving nature".
Tori Spelling - who starred alongside Luke on Beverly Hills, 90210 - left a glowing tribute to her late co-star, calling him a "friend and brother".
She also explained how he "literally went to brawl" for her when she was trapped in a verbally abusive relationship.
She recalled: "As a friend and big brother. You stood up for me fiercely. Went to brawl literally for me when I was in a verbally abusive relationship and sat and talked me thru the most insecure moments of a teen angst girls life.
"I’ll forever be 'camel'. The name you nicknamed me because of my long eyelashes. You had a way of making every single human feel confident, heard, and special the minute they met you.
"Your energy was pure selfless love. A giver in this ungiving life. Your loving nature carried thru decades."
Tori started her tribute by confessing she missed Luke "so much" and said there was "not a day that goes by" when she doesn't think of him.
She thanked him for being "the first boy to ever make her feel worth as a human, a female, and a comedienne".
Sharing their future plans before his tragic death, she wrote: "Two regrets I have. We never had that Taco Tuesday family night at your house (I heard your tacos were the best) and that I couldn’t fulfil your vision and dream of our cast doing that horror film you were so passionate about making with them.
"Sorry both those things never happened. Today, and everyday we all miss you and hold you in our hearts. Everyone does. You made quite the impression on this lifetime Lukey."
Beverly Hills, 90210 Brian Austin Green also posted a tribute to his late friend, as he revealed his phone background was dedicated to Luke.
"Miss you always !!!" he wrote alongside a screenshot of his phone's wallpaper, which was a photo of Luke cradling a canine companion on a beach.
While another of the show's stars Shannen Doherty also used social media to pay tribute to her friend as she shared a string of photos of the two of them together on her story.
