A tattooist was found on a Turkish beach with a gun shot wound to the head, and wrote in a note before she died that she had been sexually abused by three men.
20-year-old Illklima Naz Akboru was found lying motionless on the beach in Atakum District, Samsun Province, northern Turkey on the morning of October 15.
The emergency services were called by passers-by and paramedics arrived on the scene, discovering that she had been shot in the head.
A gun was located next to her body and that was sent to her hometown in Almus District, Tokat Province after a post-mortem examination.

Police investigating the case discovered a letter, thought to have been written by the young woman before her death.
Now Turkish media are reporting that she named three men in the note and claimed they all sexually abused her.

Turkish media also reported that Ilklima had moved from her hometown to Atakum, where she was staying with friends, because of problems with her family.
As well as training as a tattoo artist at a local parlour, she was working in cafes, to save money to buy her own property.
Earlier reports said two of the men named in the letter had been arrested in connection with the young woman's death, but later released on bail.
Before her death, friends reported losing touch with Illkilma, as well as noticing that she appeared to be feeling down.
All three men have reportedly denied sexually abusing her.
