A Garda investigation is under way after the discovery of a body of a young woman in apartments in north Dublin.
Officers attended the block on North William Street, Ballybough, after the alarm was raised at around 10.30am.
The deceased, who is said to be in her early 20s, was found at the residence and removed to Dublin City Mortuary.
A post-mortem will take place shortly but early indications suggest foul play is not suspected.
A Garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live: "We are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a woman’s body, aged in her late 20s, at a residence on North William St, Dublin, at approximately 10.30am this morning, 22nd March 2021.
"The body has since been removed from the scene and taken to Dublin City Mortuary where a post-mortem will take place at a later date."
It comes after the body of a man was discovered on Saturday morning at 7.30am at a hostel on Ellis Quay along the River Liffey.
Emergency services rushed to the accommodation after the alarm was raised but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to a mortuary in Dublin city centre where a post-mortem was carried out.
