Tragic Caroline Flack dreamt of a different life with 'three gorgeous children'

Caroline Flack dreamt of a very different life with "three gorgeous children".

The former Love Island presenter was tragically found dead at her London home on February 15 after taking her own life. She was just 40 years old.

The TV host had spent much of her life in the limelight and in front of the cameras thanks to a string of high-profile presenting gigs, a winning-stint on Strictly Come Dancing and her tumultuous love lilfe.

But the star admitted she sometimes wondered what her life could have been like if she'd gone down a different route.

She wrote in her 2015 autobiography Storm In A C Cup: "Most people don't know what their life would have been like if they'd chosen another path. But I do.

"Having three gorgeous children. Being settled rather than putting my life into bin bags every few months, spending half the time weeping, half the time head over heels in love."

Caroline was remembered in a moving tribute by Love Island on Sunday night.

The final of the ITV2 dating show's first ever winter series was dedicated to her memory.

Caroline had stepped down from her hosting role last year after being arrested and charged with assault by beating during an alleged early morning altercation with her boyfriend Lewis Burton.

Caroline had been in court and pleaded not guilty, she was due to stand trial next month.

After she stepped down, her pal Laura Whitmore was announced as her replacement.

As Sunday night's final got underway, Laura took a moment to talk about the difficult week since losing her friend.

And she choked up as she announced the episode was dedicated to Caroline who "loved Love Island and loved love".

A montage of clips of the presenter on the show over the years left viewers in tears, with people taking to Twitter to praise the beautiful tribute to the late star.
