A woman took ill and died during a wedding in Carlow in what has been described as a "tragic incident".
Emergency services were called to Mount Wolseley Hotel in Tullow at around 6pm on Saturday evening, September 14.
The woman, in her late 20s, is believed to have suffered a seizure. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A source said: "This is a very tragic incident. The young woman was attending a wedding at the hotel.
"She sadly had a seizure of some kind just before the wedding speeches began. It was a shock to all."

Gardai were initially reported to have been investigating the incident, but a Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror that foul play is not suspected.
They added: "A woman in her late 20s died suddenly while attending an event at a hotel in Tullow, Co Carlow on Saturday evening, 14/9/2019.
"She was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Her body was later removed to the Mortuary at Waterford Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The local Coroner has been notified.
