Tragedy as police find body in search for missing Leeds woman Sarah Cromwell

West Yorkshire Police have said that a body has been found in the search for missing Sarah Cromwell.

Sarah, 36, was first reported missing on Friday, September 17, after she was last seen at her home in Swillington, Leeds.

However, today (Sunday) the police have said the body of a female was found this afternoon in the second day of searches for her.

Her family has been informed and receiving support from specially trained officers.

Sharing the heartbreaking update, a spokesperson for the force said: “Officers involved in the search for Sarah Cromwell who was reported missing on the 17th September from the Swillington area of Leeds have this afternoon located the body of a female.

“The family of Sarah have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. There are no suspicious circumstances at this time and a report has been prepared for the Coroner.”
