A man in his 20s has died after being hit by a car in Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following the tragedy near Seacroft yesterday (December 30).
It happened at approximately 5.20pm when a blue Vauxhall Crossland was in collision with the pedestrian crossing York Road near to the junction with Moresdale Lane.

Emergency services attended the scene and paramedics desperately tried to save his life.
The young man was rushed to hospital but suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later.
