A girl has tragically died after being hit by a car at campsite in Cornwall, police say.
The crash took place at about 12.50pm on Wednesday in the Helston area.
Devon & Cornwall Police confirmed the sad death after reports of a collision on the Lizard Peninsula.
It is not yet known what age the unnamed child was, reports Cornwall Live.
The A3083 was partially blocked while emergency services attended, with an air ambulance also called to the scene.

The victim's family has been informed, police said.
Investigators remain on the scene.
A force statement said: "Police and paramedics were called to a campsite in the Helston area following a report of a collision between a vehicle and a child at around 12.50pm on Wednesday 12 May.
"The air ambulance also attended the incident.
"Tragically, the child was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers.
"Officers from the Roads Policing Team are currently in attendance and conducting an examination of the scene."
Helston is situated at the northern end of the Lizard Peninsula approximately 12 miles east of Penzance and 9 miles south-west of Falmouth.
