An Edinburgh schoolboy has passed away following a medical incident at a local high school on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the Broomhouse Road area of the capital following the incident at Forrester High School.
Despite extensive efforts from paramedics, the teenager, 15, tragically passed away following the incident which is understood to have taken place on a nearby football pitch.

Police and ambulances were spotted in the area shortly after 3pm on Tuesday afternoon, March 13.
Devastated members of the public have been invited to a local church on Tuesday evening for a period of reflection following the tragedy.
A short post from St David's Broomhouse Parish Church read: "Following the difficult circumstances earlier today, the church will be open tonight, 2000-2100 (8pm-9pm) for quiet reflection and the opportunity to light a candle. All are welcome."
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed the death and added: "On Tuesday, March 14, police were called to a report of a 15-year-old boy having collapsed on Broomhouse Road. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
