Gardai are investigating after a three year old boy died following a farm incident in Wexford on Wednesday afternoon.
The tragic accident happened around 4:30pm at Carrigabruise in Enniscorthy where the tot was hit by what is believed to be a low loader.
He was taken to Wexford General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A Gardai spokesman said: "Gardaí at Enniscorthy Co Wexford are investigating an incident in a farmyard at Carrigabruise, Carlerys Bridge, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford at approximately 4.30pm on Wednesday April 10.

"A 3 year old boy received serious injuries when he was hit by what is described as a low loader, he was taken to Wexford General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Investigations are continuing."
A spokesman from the Health and Safety Authority said: "Yes, we are aware of the incident and have launched an investigation."
