Trafford Centre is hosting a HUGE beauty festival in May with freebies from M&S, Boots, No7 and MAC and £5000 gift cards

The Trafford Centre is launching a major beauty event in May, and some of its major beauty brands will be offering freebies to shoppers. Brands including KIKO Milano, Marks and Spencer (M&S), Rituals, Boots, Selfridges, John Lewis, Lush and The Body Shop will be offering free demonstrations, sharing industry knowledge and providing consultations from iconic brands such as Origins, No7 at Boots and DIOR Beauty at a pop-up Beauty Station in Orient Way from 9 – 14 May.

On Friday 12 and Saturday 13 May, dancers from all walks of life will model impactful and inclusive looks from beauty brands available at the centre, including MAC, Bobbi Brown, Morphe, KIKO Milano, The Body Shop and No7 at Boots.

The centre will also be running its biggest ever prize giveaway. Visitors can have a go on the ‘Spin to Win’ wheel, with hundreds of amazing beauty prizes and £5000 worth of Trafford Centre gift cards to be won.

There will also be a custom photo box where customers can get a selfie to feature on their very own magazine cover, as well as writing an empowering message to stick on the centre’s affirmation mirror. Plus, the first 50 Pulse members to visit the Beauty Station and show their Pulse email will receive a goody bag packed with beauty treats.

Beauty fans can also take part in a series of masterclasses and talks in Selfridges iconic Beauty Hall, from brands such as Kylie Cosmetics and Too Faced, whilst Selfridges Beauty Concierge Bar will be hosting sampling sessions from brands such as Vida Glow, UOMA Beauty and Dermalogica.

More luxury and high street beauty brands to shop at Trafford Centre include Rituals, Therapie, Molton Brown, The Body Shop, Superdrug, The Fragrance Shop and The Perfume Shop, as well as a variety of beauty and wellbeing services, from haircare, makeup, skincare, grooming and wellness.

Tuesday 9 – Thursday 11 May

  • Check out the pop-up Beauty Station in Orient Way and discover new products, techniques and consultation from brands including KIKO Milano, M&S, Rituals, The Body Shop and Boots No 7.

Friday 12 May

  • ‘It’s All About You’ beauty show: hourly from 3-8pm, Main Dome
  • Spin to Win wheel: open for up to 30 minutes at quarter past each hour, from 3.15pm – 8.15pm, Orient Way
  • Indulge in a moment of self-care with Lush at the Beauty Station, Orient Way
  • Kylie Cosmetics masterclass at Selfridges, 3.30pm and 7pm. Join Kylie Cosmetics pro MUA Jade Darwent for a 45 minute masterclass to create a bespoke makeup look using new Kylie Cosmetics products and the Selfridges exclusive Matte Liquid Eyeshadow. Costs £35, tickets available here.
  • Vida Glow sampling session at Beauty Concierge, Selfridges, drop in from 10am – 10pm (free). Sample Vida Glow's best-selling Natural Marine Collagen flavours and find a formula tailored to your skin and receive a personalised ingestible beauty routine.

Saturday 13 May

  • Express yourself with luxury beauty at Selfridges Beauty Station takeover, Orient Way
  • ‘It’s All About You’ beauty show: hourly from 1-6pm, Main Dome
  • Spin to Win wheel: open for up to 30 minutes at quarter past each hour, from 1.15pm – 6.15pm, Orient Way
  • Too Faced masterclass at Selfridges, 1pm and 3pm. Join Too Faced for a series of beauty masterclasses. Learn how to enhance your beauty from within as the brand showcases some of its bestselling products and exciting new launches. Costs £30, fully redeemable against products. Tickets available here.
  • UOMA Beauty sampling session at Beauty Concierge, Selfridges, drop in from 10am – 10pm (free). Enjoy a complimentary complexion sampling session and learn more about the brand’s bestselling products and journey to authenticity.
  • "My Hair is..." In conversation with Ruka Hair at Selfridges, 4pm. Ruka Hair join Selfridges in conversation on the intersection of hair and identity and the everyday challenges and joys that come with it. Expert panellists will discuss the significance of hair in shaping our identities, and how it can both empower and challenge us in our daily lives. Tickets are £15 and available from 6pm on 28 April.
Sunday 14 May
  • Level up your looks with John Lewis, DIOR Beauty and Origins at the Beauty Station, Orient Way
  • Dermalogica sampling session at Beauty Concierge, Selfridges, drop in from 10am – 10pm (free) or book at 12pm and 4pm (£5). Learn how to brighten your skin with a team of experts at Dermalogica's complimentary Mixology Vitamin C masterclasses. Or book a 1:1 Face Mapping consultation with a skin therapist using the Observ machine at the time of your choosing. Call 07710730349 to book your ticket.
  • In Conversation & Make-Up masterclass with Frankie Noone (hosted by Natalie O’Leary) at Selfridges Upper Level, 1-2pm. Tickets are £20 and fully redeemable on beauty products on the day of the event (available from 6pm on 28 April).
