Trafford Centre, Arndale, Debenhams and Selfridges' opening hours over Christmas and Boxing Day 2020

Christmas is going to look very different this year, and those of us still needing to head out to the shops are being advised to plan ahead.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the government has advised people to try to avoid the crowds during the busy Christmas period.

From Christmas Eve - one of the busiest days for last-minute shoppers - through to New Year's Day, many retailers and malls are operating reduced or alternative hours.

So whenever you plan to hit the shops over the Christmas holidays it's definitely a good idea to check the opening hours before heading out.

Here's a list of the opening times for  Debenhams, the Trafford Centre,  Selfridges  and  Manchester Arndale during the 2020 festive period.

Debenhams, Market Street
