Motorists and bus passengers have been warned to expect delays as highways bosses plan to close a busy route overnight.
The A4018, in Cribbs Causeway , will be shut between 8pm tonight (Monday, October 21) until 6am tomorrow (Tuesday, October 22).
A spokesperson for First Bus has confirmed a number of diversions will be in place for services during this period.
The road is being closed to allow for essential works to take place.
What diversions will be in place?
Services 1, 2, 3, 4, & 76 will operate a normal route as far as Station Road Henbury roundabout then divert right down Wyck Beck Road, left into Knole Lane, right into Pen Park Road, left into Southmead Roadacross roundabout onto A38 then take slip road at Royal Mail onto Hayes Way onto Merlin Road to resume normal route to Cribbs Causeway Bus Station.
