A serious crash between a car and lorry on the M6 has caused five miles of tailbacks for commuters.
Emergency services including Cheshire Police, North West Motorway Police and Cheshire Fire service rushed to the scene of a serious crash between a car and a lorry at around 5pm on Friday, July 8.
The crash happened southbound between Junction 20, Lymm Services and Junction 19, Knutsford.

Traffic was initially stopped, according to Highways England, but now one lane of traffic is able to pass the scene of the crash.
Highways England has said commuters are facing five miles of tailbacks.
At this stage the extent of any injuries is not known.
This comes after male lorry driver died on the same stretch of road in a serious crash between three lorries yesterday.
Three other people received what are believed to be minor injuries.
