Traffic queues for four miles after lorry crashes on M62 eastbound

There are four-mile queues on the M62 eastbound tonight after a lorry crashed - blocking all three lanes.

All traffic is being held and is stationary between J32 at Pontefract and J32A A1M.

Although the road has been reopened traffic is currently being held while the lorry is recovered.

Traffic service Inrix say say the lane will be intermittently held while the jack-knifed lorry is being recovered.

Traffic is also queuing through Castleford and Pontefract as traffic is diverted away from the M62.

Motorists are advised to follow the yellow symbol for the diversion.

Highways England say there are delays of up to 50 minutes.

Normal traffic conditions are expected between 9.30pm-9.45pm.
