Traffic NI: Belfast International Airport road closed after crash

A road next to Belfast International Airport is closed on Friday morning after a crash.

The British Road, Aldergrove near Crumlin is shut following a two vehicle road traffic collision on October 8.

Police say diversions are in place and drivers are asked to seek alternative routes.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Motorists are advised that the British Road, Aldergrove near Crumlin is closed following a two vehicle road traffic collision this morning. Diversions are in place and drivers should seek alternative routes."

It comes after a part of the A1 dual carriageway was closed on Friday morning due to a 'serious' crash.

The carriageway was closed from The Boulevard in Banbridge and traffic was being diverted through Loughbrickland. It has since reopened.
