Traffic jam delays NRL prelim kick-off

A traffic jam has held up Manly's team bus, causing Friday night's NRL preliminary final against South Sydney to be delayed by 15 minutes.

The match at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium will now kick off 8.05pm.

The Sea Eagles' bus was caught up in heavy traffic on the M1 on its way from the team's base on the Sunshine Coast, receiving a police escort before arriving at 6.40pm.

The winner of the clash will be the first through to the NRL grand final next Sunday, to be joined by the winner of Saturday's Melbourne and Penrith blockbuster.
