A section of Belfast's Westlink was forced to close on Thursday evening after police received a concern for safety call.
The road closed from the Grosvenor Road onslip west bound and from Broadway down city bound.
The PSNI advised motorists to avoid the area and seek an alternative route if possible.
Diversions were in place but the police said the road had now reopened.
