Monklands motorists are facing near full-day traffic disruption during two upcoming road closures.
First, an Airdrie road will be shut for 24 hours on June 19 for work by Scottish Power.
Bore Road will close from the A8010 Aitken Street to Kelvin Drive.
Alternative roads for motorists will include the A73 Motherwell Street, Drumbathie Road and the A8010.
And manhole replacement works will result in Coatbridge’s Blaiklands Crescent closing for eight-and-a-half hours on July 22.
This will apply from 9.30am to 6pm, between property eight and Heatherbell Road, with the latter road available as a diversion.
