Delays are to be expected as a result of a £300,000 Bangor resurfacing scheme.
Roads Minister, Nichola Mallon, announced the works on Friday.
Two carriageways are to benefit the scheme which extends the full length of Victoria Drive from its junctions with Victoria Road and on Victoria Road from its junction with Clifton Road to its junction with Holborn Avenue.
Minister Mallon said: "I am pleased to announce this significant investment in the Bangor area. This scheme will greatly enhance the road surface for all who use it and will better connect the local community and visitors to the area for many years to come."
Temporary traffic measures will in place along Victoria Drive from 9.30am to 4pm from Monday, February 24 when works begin until Friday, March 6.
The Department for Infrastructure said the Victoria Road will also be closed between 9.30am and 4pm from Monday, March 2 until Friday, March 27 for the safety of the public.
To help ensure the safety of those using the roads, temporary traffic management will be in place on Victoria Drive between 9.30am and 4pm from Monday 24 February until Friday 6 March.
Diversions will be in place via Clifton Road, High Street and Holborn Avenue.
The road will be open to traffic in the evenings during the week and all day Saturday and Sunday.
The Department said it the works and traffic management arrangements have been organised to minimise any inconvenience.
But they have warned drivers to expect some delays.
The completion date of March 27 will depend on weather conditions.
