Traffic chaos near Prestwick Airport as emergency services respond to major incident

A major incident is underway tonight close to Sandyford Toll roundabout near Prestwick Airport.

Eyewitnesses report a large police presence and a helicopter on the scene with a "body on the road".

Ambulance crews are also in attendance.

Large tailbacks are being reported and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
