Traffic backing up following two-car crash on main road through Salford

Traffic is building in Salford after a two-car crash on a main road.

One lane is blocked heading Manchester-bound on the A6, Broad Street, past the University of Salford between Frederick Road and Albion Way.

The crash is believed to have taken place at around 7.30am and queues are backing up along the East Lancashire Road as a result.

CCTV images have been shared of increasing traffic around the site of the crash by Transport for Greater Manchester.

TfGM is advising driver to keep left on Broad Street if they want to use the Albion Way slip road.
