Traditional Beeston 4-bed up for sale for first time in over 50 years has guide price of £165k

A house that was last on the market over 50 years ago will be auctioned this month.

The four-bed property in Hall Croft, Beeston, has a guide of £165,000+.

A spokesperson for the auctioneer said: "This is a real treasure trove of a property in a fantastic area".

The property will go up for sale in a timed auction with bidding opening on Monday, September 20.

A good family sized home, the three-storey house is being sold by SDL Property Auctions in partnership with estate agency firm Frank Innes.

It does, however, need what the selling agents are calling "a scheme of upgrading and improvements".

SDL Property Auctions said: "While it needs a little modernisation throughout, this has been a family home for decades and will make a great purchase for anyone wanting to put their own stamp on their property, or any investors looking to add to their portfolios."

The auction firm continued: "We sold the neighbouring property in February of this year, also in partnership with Frank Innes Nottingham."

The sale on the neighbouring property was agreed at £165,500 from a guide price of £135,000.

The auctioneer added that the property was "already proving to be popular with bidders in advance of the Timed Auction beginning".
