Tradeston early morning assault leaves man in hospital

Police are investigating after a man was left injured following an assault in the Tradeston area of Glasgow .

Around 6.50am, cops were called to reports of a man being injured following an assault.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The area around Tradeston Street was cordoned off after the incident.

The condition of the victim is not known at present.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At 6.50am, police officers were called to reports of a man who appeared to be injured after an assault.

"The injured man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital."
