Tractor collides with bus outside West Lothian school

A tractor collided with a bus and damaged a wall near the front gates of a West Lothian primary school yesterday.

Police were called yesterday afternoon (May 8) at 2.55pm to Torphichen Street outside Balbardie Primary School in Bathgate.

A tractor had collided with the school fence and the back of a bus.

Traffic was put down to a single file lane immediately after.

Police confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident.

There was damage to the fence and damage to the bus, but no damage to the tractor.

A police spokesperson said that no crime had been committed and they were not looking for any witnesses.
