Trackhouse owner Justin Marks to drive NASCAR Cup car at Goodwood

Justin Marks founded the Trackhouse Racing Team in 2021, an organization that has since won ten Cup races and finished as high as second in the championship. They've entered a car in the Rolex 24 at Daytona and even created a MotoGP team in partnership with Aprilia.

Marks, a proven winner behind the wheel himself, will drive the No. 87 Red Bull NASCAR Cup Chevrolet at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which takes place between July 10th and 13th. The event has existed since 1993 and has only gotten bigger since then.

The annual event, located in West Sussex, England, displays a wide variety of vehicles and race cars from around the world, and NASCAR stock cars have been featured numerous times before. Just last year, Richard Petty's Plymouth Superbird took part in the event with Kyle Petty driving.

"This is quite the honor for both Trackhouse Racing and NASCAR,” said Marks in a release from the team. “NASCAR held its first points race in recent history in Mexico last month, and it was a huge success. Expanding our fan base globally is a goal for everyone in our sport, and there's no better place to showcase our sport than the Goodwood Festival of Speed. I want to thank our friends at Red Bull and Chevrolet for making this happen.”

Marks is an experienced racer with nine wins as an IMSA driver and a victory as a NASCAR Xfinity Series driver. He's run six Cup races, including the 2018 Daytona 500, but Marks has never actually piloted a Next Gen car.
