Yellow Line service resumes after track problems in Skokie

CTA Yellow Line trains are moving again Friday after earlier track problems in north suburban Skokie.

Trains were halted at the Howard station shortly before 6 a.m. at the because of track switching problems near the Oakton-Skokie station, according to service alerts from the CTA.

Service resumed with residual delays shortly before 7:20 a.m., the CTA said.
