Trabzonspor midfielder Yusuf Yazici has responded to speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has been linked with a possible move to Old Trafford at the end of the season as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to rebuild his side and mount a challenge for Champions League football.
Ander Herrera is set to leave the club at the end of the season and Yazici could be one player to potentially fill his void in the United midfield.
However, the Turkish midfielder insists he has not thought about a transfer and will only decide his future once the domestic comes to an end.
“The league is not over yet," he told Trabzon based newspaper Taka.
"We still have a lot to play for. Transfer talks will wait until the end of the season. I am only focused on our next game against Konyaspor.”
Yazici's comments come just days after Trabzonspor chairman, Ahmet Agaoglu, revealed that United had sent scouts to watch two of his players in recent weeks.
According to the chairman both United and Lille sent scouts to watch the club's young duo Abdulkadir Omur and Yazici in recent weeks.
Speaking after Trabzonspor's 4-2 win over Kayserispor on Monday night, Agaoglu said: "Our players have been watched closely for a long time.
"Today, Manchester United and Lille scouts were at the game.
"It makes us very proud that Trabzonspor players are on the radars of the biggest clubs in Europe."
