Toyota win endurance championship in Chon Buri

CHON BURI: Toyota Team Thailand won the RAAT Thailand Endurance Championship International 2018 at Peera International Circuit on June 16-17.

Toyota Team Thailand included drivers Sutthipong Samitchart, Natthawut Charoensukkawattana, Nattapong Horthongkum, Manut Kulapalanont, Naoaki Kawamura and Supong Kumtonwong.

The event was organised by the Royal Automobile Association of Thailand (RAAT).

This endurance race championship was divided into two days and it took four hours each day.

Driving Car No.20, Supong and Naoaki finished first place in the overall category and the Super Production 2000cc event. Nattapong and Manut picked up second in the overall category and also were first in the Super Production 1500-1600cc in their Car No.37.

In Car 19, Sutthipong and Natthawut finished third in the overall category.

In the second race, Nattapong and Manut finished second overall and in the Super Production 1500-1600cc event. This clinched race honours for Toyota Team Thailand.
