Pixar fans have been treated this week to the first look at the upcoming Buzz Lightyear movie, which features Chris Evans voicing the iconic animated character.
Called Lighyear, the film is directed by Angus MacLane and is due to be released in June 2022.
It doesn't follow the same character from the Toy Story franchise we all know and love, but instead introduces a 'real-life' astronaut whose adventures inspire the toys seen in the other movies.
The film wil explore Buzz's career as he rises through the ranks as a Space Ranger to become the Captain of the Universe Protection Unit of the Space Ranger corps.
And while many are excited for the film's release, some Toy Story fans joked that seeing the trailer had ruined their childhood.

In the trailer viewers got to see a look at the character of Buzz Lightyear for the very first time without his iconic space suit.
With his helmet and gear off and dressed in more normal clothes, people were stunned to discover that he actually has hair, as they'd never seen it before.
A number of tweets went viral discussing the topic, with one person saying: "Wait wait… wait…. Buzz Lightyear… has HAIR?! What?! Only 27 years to find that out?!?! What?!?! I’m still getting over him giving up being Mrs Nesbitt!"
Another wrote: "I can’t believe Buzz Lightyear isn’t bald I thought he was like Howie Mandel or Pitbull where you’ve never even considered they have hair in the first place."
"Everyone shocked about Buzz Lightyear's hair because they thought he would have a... buzz cut," posted a third.
Someone else asked: "Wait...he's not bald under that skullcap?!?!"
A fourth tweeted: "Buzz Lightyear has hair and I don’t know how to feel."
A number of other people on Twitter thought Buzz's new look was 'hot'.
"Buzz Lightyear is hot, I'll say it," proclaimed a different user.
A second agreed: "BUZZ LIGHTYEAR BECAME SO HOT OMG."
While a fellow Twitter user added: "Buzz Lightyear has no business being this hot but here we are."
