Nearly 10 years on from Toy Story 3 , the wait is finally over!
Hype and anticipation has been building since it's original announcement by Disney in November 2014 - and early indications from the critics suggest that it's been worth the wait
The film premiered in Los Angeles on June 11 and so far has received highly-positive reviews. Rotten Tomatoes critic consensus labelled it "heartwarming, funny and beautifully animated".
And while some quarters have questioned the decision to produce a sequel after how neatly the third film in the series ended, the Rotten Tomatoes critic consensus continued by saying: " Toy Story 4 manages the unlikely feat of extending - and perhaps concluding - a practically perfect animated saga."
Toy Story 4 continues two years after the third film off with Woody, Buzz and the gang - now in the hands of young girl Bonnie - embarking on a road trip adventure.
UK Release Date
This past Sunday, Tom Hanks - along with a life-sized Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Bo Peep and new character 'Forky' - walked the red carpet at the UK premiere at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square, London.
The film will be released officially in the UK just in time for the weekend.
You can catch it at your local cinema this Friday, June 21, with showings as early as 9.30am.
