Toy Show hero Adam King sends Ireland's Olympic team a lovely message of support

Late Late Toy Show hero Adam King is doing his part to inspire Ireland's Olympians as they bid for gold at Tokyo.

In a heartfelt video that was shared online, the boy from Cork wished all of Ireland's athletes the very best at the Olympics.

"Hello, Team Ireland! I'm sending you a big virtual hug as you go for gold! Good luck in the Olympic games, bye!" said Adam.

In the post, an accompanying message was also included which said: "Sending hugs to all our Team Ireland heroes and wishing them great success in the coming weeks in #TokyoOlympics2021! Special mention to local athlete Aoife Cooke who will compete in the Marathon. Go for gold #TeamIreland - we are with you!"

It seems that Adam's positive and kind message has been received because Sport Ireland have also done their very best to spread Adam's positivity and warmth.

That's because they also shared the message and said: "Virtual Hugs for #TeamIreland " while the official account of the Olympic Federation of Ireland and Team Ireland also passed on Adam's words of encouragement.

Thankfully, the message also reached Aoife Cooke who replied to Adam's message and said: "A good luck wish from one of my own local heroes."
