TOWIE stars supporting one another after ITV2 show hit by double death tragedy

The cast of The Only Way Is Essex are supporting each other after the ITV2 show was hit be a double tragedy in recent weeks.

TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou was seriously injured in a car crash in Turkey, which killed her on/off boyfriend Jake McLean.

This was followed by one of the show's former stars. Lauren Goodger, suffered the heartbreaking loss of her newborn baby daughter.

Amy Childs told the Daily Star that the cast were rallying around each other and the dramas of the reality show have been put to one side as they cope with the tragic news.

Amy said: “People think we always have drama, but when something like that happens, we all get together and work as a team.

"We always support each other and we are always there for each other. We are on a TV show, but at the same time, we are a massive family.

“If anything ever happened to me, they’d be there for me. That’s the good thing about the show.”

The reality star said that the cast members also stick together when one of the crew is being subjected to horrific trolling.

She continued: “When you’re in the public eye, people think everything is amazing for you. But you get highs and lows from being in the public eye.

“You’ve got to rise above it and be that strong person.”

After the horrifying car crash, Yazmin has been spotted without her arm sling a month after escaping the vehicle, which had left the road on a cliff.

She was joined by co-stars Dani Imbert, Junaid Ahmed and Ella Rae Wise for a weekend away in Lincoln.

Yazmin was discharged from hospital in early July after being left seriously injured with doctors reportedly telling Yaz she was 'lucky' to have survived.

She was previously seen with her arm in a sling, but is seemingly on the mend.
