James Lock and Yazmin Oukhellou have officially split while on a work trip to Dubai.
The fiery couple from The Only Way Is Essex first began dating in 2017 before splitting in 2019 and reuniting last year.
The news comes following reports that the pair had been rowing while on their work trip to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Now the pair have put an end to their on-off romance.
Confirming their split, 34-year-old James told OK! from Dubai: "We tried to make it work and we really thought it was going to be different this time but things don’t always work out as you’d expect.
"I have a lot of love for Yaz and a huge amount of respect for her but we’re just better apart."
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Yaz also confirmed to the publication that they had had an "amicable" split.
She said: " I love James but we’re not good together.
"It couldn't go on the way it was so I told James we should end things and he agreed."
The pair had reconciled in September last year after a year apart.
"I feel like the things that went wrong in the relationship before, we now know to put right this time," Yaz had told New magazine at the time. "I look at that as a test run – and now this is the real run."
Lockie had said at the time: "I went and did my thing and she went and did hers. Whatever happened, happened. It's all in the past now."
James had previously dated fellow TOWIE star Danielle Armstrong before his relationship with Yaz.
Both James and Yaz were forced to defend their work trip to Dubai amid growing controversy about infuencers travelling abroad for work during the Covid-19 pandemic and travel restrictions.
In December, Yazmin too to social media to explain he couple's decision to head to Dubai when Essex was hit with Tier 4 regulations.
"Just so those of you know, me and James have come to Dubai because I am launching something very exciting here in the New Year, so I've had to come now to get everything set up and we will be keeping you posted," she wrote on social media.
