TOWIE's Fran Parman horrifies fans with contents of fridge as she poses for sexy snap

TOWIE star Fran Parman sparked a furious debate among fans as she inadvertently exposed the 'controversial' contents of her fridge.

A row kicked off after Fran posed for a sexy snap that saw the reality TV babe seductively pour milk over cereal as she stood in her Essex kitchen.

Lurking in the shelves of Fran's exposed fridge were a number of condiments that unleashed a war in her Instagram comments.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted a bottle of ketchup chilling in the fridge and while many thought this the best course of action for a half-full tube - others were disgusted.

"Got milk?" Fran cheekily asked in the caption.

To which one follower snapped: "Yes and I just spat it out at the fact you have tomato sauce in the fridge..."

"You know what I never used to until someone told me it was unhygienic to keep it in the cupboard," Fran attempted to explain.

The defence did little to deter fans who continued to hit out at the abuse of food storage.

"Get tha sauce out the fridge," demanded one social media user.

"Ketchup in the fridge. noooooooo!!" wailed a third.

As the war raged on, Fran told angry fans she'd been called 'scum' for keeping her sauce in the cupboard before.

"You know apparently it doubles in bacteria if you don't fridge it," she advised.

"Don't worry love. I have always had ketchup in my fridge so I'm defo with you on that one," agreed one supporter.

Hygiene experts have insisted that the likes of ketchup, brown sauce, soy sauce and pickle can all be kept in the cupboard - even when opened.

However, egg-based items such as salad cream always belong in the fridge.

Food giant Heinz recommends putting their bottles in the fridge once opened - but they say it is not a necessity.

Other commonly misplaced food items include avocado, honey, tomatoes and onions - which experts say all belong in your cupboards not your fridge.
