Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard becomes a 60-storey pillar of light as the city’s most magical New Year countdown.
Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), in collaboration with the Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA), proudly hosts Beautiful Bangkok @Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard, a spectacular blend of art, sound, and light to put Bangkok on the map as a global countdown destination.
Now in its second year, the show uses 3-D mapping technology to project high-resolution images onto the 60-storey Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard (MRB), a super-luxury condominium and home to the exclusive Waldorf Astoria Bangkok hotel.

Multicolour lasers and theatrical lighting techniques further enhance the display on the ‘architectural canvas’ of Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard’s striking 300-metre-high façade.
The performance is the work of seven internationally acclaimed Thai artists. Their theme for this year’s mesmerizing presentation is ‘The Symphony of Happiness’, a concept they interpret with a dazzling kaleidoscope of images of urban life and national pride.
Bringing a broad spectrum of artistic styles, the artists of this year’s show are all stars of Thailand’s thriving street art scene. Pichet Rujivararat (Tikkywow) presents “Bangkok Eyes!”, which depicts scenes of everyday life in the capital. Janewit Limthamrong (P7) contributes “Colorful Bangkok”, taking inspiration from Bangkok’s famously fun-loving character. Akkaraphon Monthathong (Bonus TMC) brings “Balanced Happiness”, representing the crossroads of technology and nature.

Teerayut Puchpen (TRK) uses his Tiger character to explore contemporary Thai society with “Payak Siam” (Siamese Tiger). Thana Saengsorn (Pai Lactobacillus) finds inspiration in the beauty, happiness, and dreams of Bangkok residents with “Siamese Dream”. Keep Your Eyes On showcases Bangkok nightlife venues with “Neo Bangkok”. Danaiphat Lersputtitrakan (Mue Bon) sets his street art signature to a Thai reggae soundtrack in “Bangkokians”.
“Beautiful Bangkok @Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard” runs through December with seven nightly showings starting every 20 minutes from 7:00 to 9:00pm, plus a New Year countdown at 11:55pm on 31 December.
