A video showing two foreign tourists engaging in oral sex on a moving tuk-tuk in Patong has sparked widespread criticism online, with many warning of the damage such behaviour could cause to the resort town’s image.
The clip, which has circulated widely on social media since being posted on Sunday, appears to show a male and female tourist sitting in the back of a tuk-tuk while travelling along Thaweewong Road in Phuket’s Patong area.
The pair appear to be behaving inappropriately in full view of other road users.
The footage has drawn strong reactions from social media users, who condemned the behaviour as disrespectful and harmful to the reputation of one of Thailand’s most popular tourist destinations.
Authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
