Tourist stabbed at Adelaide bus station

A Japanese tourist has been stabbed in the arm while waiting at the Adelaide Central Bus Station early on Saturday.

The woman was at the Franklin Street depot when she was approached from behind by two men about 4:45am, police said.

Police believe one of the men then tried to rob the woman, who was stabbed her in the arm — possibly with a screwdriver.

The woman was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Police searched the area around the bus station with dog patrols but have not found the two men.
